Bristol and the South West has a thriving artistic scene which dates back centuries. Clevedon Salerooms have had great success over the years selling local paintings and prints, including Nicholas Pocock, Samuel Jackson, William Muller, the 'Bristol Savages' (now 1904 Arts), Doris Hatt, Beryl Cook, and of course Banksy!

Recently, we were proud to host an exclusive exhibition in Clifton, Bristol, showcasing the work of the late Barrington Tabb, which sold on behalf of the family.

Clevedon Salerooms Director and Specialist Valuer Mark Huddleston studied History of Art at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, and has almost thirty years' experience of the national art market. Undertaking extensive further research, and consultation where necessary, recent successes included a watercolour view in New Zealand, consigned from a house clearance in Dorset via relatives in Bristol. The picture sold on the telephone to a long standing contact of Mark's, for £21,000.
