The Aldwick Court carved oak tester bed, principally early 17th Century, the tester with ten panels enclosing recessed centre with projecting carved panel, the headboard having foliate scroll and foliate frieze flanked by corbels, over dentil mouldings and three narrow uprights each carved with stylised motifs, the central upright enclosing a small cupboard, between finely carved arcaded and recessed panels with lozenge, floriate and foliate designs, the cup-and-cover and turned endposts raised on square section supports flanking footboard with three fielded panels, mounted with iron curtain rails on end and one side,145cm x 203cm x 192cm high
