Good quality Louis XIV style carved walnut open armchair or fauteuil, probably circa 1900, the ogee-arched padded back over outsplayed open arms with carved foliage and bellflowers on S-scroll supports, the stuffover seat with wavy apron, later-covered in red plush, raised on carved cabriole front supports terminating in hoof feet, before a moulded ogee H-stretcher, 70cm wide to seat front / 74cm across arms x 107.5cm high
