Early 20th Century child's craftsman-made inlaid oak Wainscot chair

Early 20th Century child's craftsman-made inlaid oak Wainscot chair, made by Clement Woodhouse (ancestor of the current owner) in 1911, for his daughter Doris Ingledew Bates, from salvaged timbers removed from the roof of the local Parish church, the chair with stipple-carved cresting over Dutch-style floral inlay to back and front seat rail, the incised solid seat between open arms, and blocked and turned gun-barrel front supports with scroll stretcher, 80cm high, sold with supporting provenance paperwork
