Information with frame reads 'Pte. William McCallion, 3rd Battalion, 1st Royal Regiment of Foot. Born county Londonderry, Ireland. Enlisted in the 3rd Btn. 1st Foot, October 1807; wounded by gunshot to the left arm at St. Sebastian, 31.8.1813, discharged August 1814, after 6 years and 311 days with the colours.
