John Andrews, Leadenhall Street, London (fl. c. 1688-1715) - Early 18th century brass longcase clock dial and movement, of square form with matted centre having subsidiary seconds dial and ringed winding arbors over terrestrial calendar square with engraved foliate scroll and fruit basket surround, the chapter ring with Roman hours, Arabic minutes, inner quarter hour track and fleur-de-lis half hour divisions, signed 'Jno. Andrews Leden Hall STREET LONDON' all within baroque style crown and cherub supporter spandrels and engraved herringbone outer border, 30.5cm, (12 inches) square, the movement of five ringed and finned pillars, outside countwheel-striking on a bell, sold with wire, pulleys, two lead weights and pendulum (no case)
