1970s Scandinavian (probably Danish) writing table or desk, in veneered and solid timber, probably Louro Preto (Cordia Trichotoma), the rectangular top over two banks of three drawers flanking kneehole, open recesses to the reverse, raised on four supports, 140cm x 70cm x 72cm high
After very careful consideration, it is the view of Clevedon Salerooms that this lot does not contain dalbergia nigra (Brazilian rosewood): as such, no Article 10 has been applied for. Bidders intending to resell should bear this in mind and satisfy themselves that they are buying an item which complies with legislation; sales cannot be rescinded retrospectively.
