Clevedon Salerooms are a member of SOFAA, the only professional body exclusively representing fine art auctioneers and valuers in the UK.
The Society was formed in 1973 to provide a professional body for specialist firms throughout the United Kingdom. The membership includes a significant number of the leading provincial specialist auctioneers. The members seek to provide a comprehensive and specialist service as auctioneers and valuers of antiques, fine art, jewellery and other chattels.
The Society aims to provide guidance to its members to ensure the highest possible standards of practice in all regards, and encouragement and reassurance to clients that their best interests will be served at all times.
Clevedon Salerooms are also members of The Property Ombudsman, following the TPO Code of Practise (approved by CTSI), demonstrating that our company operates to the highest standards and are committed to raising standards across the industry.
