As we are not professional packers, we would recommend using one of the contacts below: 

However, for small, non-breakable items weighing under 2kg, we offer a free, goodwill packing service (not postal service).
You may wish to check with us if your lots are eligible for this service, before bidding.

Examples of items we will NOT package include, but are not limited to:

  • Firearms
  • Bladed items (knives, swords, etc.)
  • Glass, or anything including glass (including paintings under glass)
  • Ceramics
  • Lighters
 

To use our free goodwill packing service, please first settle your account promptly, and then contact us before booking your preferred collection service - as we will need to email weight and dimensions once these are available.
Please remember, this is a free, courtesy service - not an express service - and will be carried out as efficiently as our other Saleroom duties allow.

You will then be requested to organise your collection service of choice (Royal Mail / Parcelforce is our preference, as they visit daily during office hours), and to email a packing disclaimer and delivery label to us at info@clevedonsalerooms.com

Specify our address as the collection point, and your address as the destination.
 
We offer the packing materials and our time free of charge, all we ask is that you arrange and pay for the collection.

The reasons we do this are numerous:
It allows you to arrange whoever you wish to collect and deliver, and on a date to suit you
It allows you to insure the items, if you wish
It avoids us leaving our building by car (where your items are NOT insured) during office hours, and travelling 5 miles return to a Post Office, plus parking and queuing time - and it is both far cheaper for you, and far quicker for us.
