Royal Navy officers sword, the hilt with brass solid basket hilt with fouled crowned anchor, lion's head pommel and wire bound shark skin covered grip. The single-edged blade, 79cm is in very good condition and etched with fouled anchor, royal cypher and floral patterns and numbered '04177' on the back-strap. In its brass-mounted black leather scabbard and bullion dress knot. No makers mark present on blade, 97cm long (overall)
