Zenith - Swiss red painted mantel clock, mid 20th century, the signed 7-inch convex white enamelled dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, single-train timepiece movement with passing strike on a bell, in waisted balloon-form case with gilt ball finial and floral decoration, 50.5cm high, sold with pendulum and winder, the former having inscription to bob 'To commemorate the inauguration of the direct air link between Manchester and Zurich, 11th / 12th December 1948.
