Gloucestershire Football Association 9ct gold and enamel 1928 - 1929 Senior Cup Competition medal awarded to William 'Billy' Coggins of Bristol City, the obverse inscribed 'GLOUCESTERSHIRE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION', the reverse inscribed 'SENIOR CUP COMPN, 1928-29, WINNERS' with ring suspension, sponsor's mark of Vaughton & Sons, Birmingham 1928, 26mm diameter (ex.suspension hoop), 18.1gram gross approx

William 'Billy' Herbert Coggins (September 1901 – July 1958) was an English footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He played for Bristol City FC (1925-1930), Everton FC (1930-1935) in the 1931 FA Cup semi-final, Queens Park Rangers FC (1935-1936), and Bath City FC. After retiring from the sport he became the landlord of the Rising Sun pub in Backwell, North Somerset.
