Late Victorian silver tray of rectangular form with pierced gallery and cast handles and feet, engraved decoration and crest of the Vaughan family to the front, verso with engraved presentation inscription 'The Bristol Brewery Georges & Cop. Limited, Upon the retirement of Philip Henry Vaughan Esquire, from the Chairmanship of this Company, The Shareholders desire to record their appreciation of the sound judgement with which he has so succesfully directed the Company's affairs, and his untiring devotion to its interests and they trust that the Company will for many years continue to receive the benefit of his counsel and assistance as a member of the board.
