Japanese officer's sword katana, the grip with sharkskin covering and braid binding, on the top of the grip the pommel has a Mon (family badge), the curved single-edged blade has one peg hole, the tang has very small marks and faint character, in its metal scabbard with brown leather campaign cover, the blade has some nicks to the edge and has been heavily cleaned, blade 26 inches
