Late 17th Century or early 18th Century bullion work panel, possibly intended to cover for the front of a casket, worked in metal thread on sequin embellished ground with Talbot Hounds, each with red silk tongue detail and bearing a flagstaff with pennant over two fish issuing scrolling acanthus within plain edge and broad border worked with daffodil heads within foliate scrolls, with vacant velvet lined central cartouche to the border, the reverse lined with plain cotton, 49cm x 100cm
