Wedgwood Blue Jasper model of the Portland vase, 19th century, of typical form after the Antique, the oviform body sprigged in white relief with a continuous frieze of draped classical figures depicting the myth of Peleus and Thetis, the angular handles suspending bearded masks and the base moulded with Paris heavily draped, wearing a Phrygian cap, impressed upper case mark for Wedgwood, 26cm high
