Leroy & Fils, Paris - 19th century French gilt brass mantel clock, No. 1984, having a 3.25-inch silvered Roman dial with rectangular case with Breguet style moon hands, the two train movement outside countwheel striking on a bell, the backplate engraved 'No. 1228 Leroy [or Le Roy] & Fils H'GER Roi A Paris', the case with ball finials and oval roof glazing over projecting corners and scroll frieze and fluted Corinthian pilasters, flanking convex glazed brass bezel, on compressed bun feet, 22cm high
