This vast area of collecting encompasses almost anything outside the norm – from bronzes to boxes, corkscrews to cameras, and fans to fishing tackle!

This field requires a considerable breadth of knowledge; thankfully, all of our Senior Valuers have at least twenty years in their field. Whether your instruments are musical or scientific, we undertake thorough research to market them properly. One such recent success was a late 17th century oval snuff box, rated at £250 elsewhere but - properly catalogued and targeted to the right audience - it sold for £1,500 with us.

Another specialist area is the unique mineral Blue John, from one hill at Castleton in Derbyshire's High Peak. Mark Huddleston has handled over 300 pieces of this rare material, and has the contacts and experience to do it justice.
