Alongside its regular programme of valuation days at Clevedon Salerooms, the Auction house has been holding a series of off-site valuation events at venues in and around Bristol.
These events are designed to make specialist valuations more accessible while also giving clients the opportunity to visit venues of interest in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
Recent valuation days have taken place at a range of carefully chosen locations, each offering clients the opportunity to meet the Clevedon Salerooms team and have items appraised outside the salerooms.
Recent valuation events
One valuation event was held at Audley Redwood, where visitors were invited to bring items for appraisal by Clevedon Salerooms’ expert team of valuers. A wide range of objects were assessed on the day, including jewellery, silver, ceramics, paintings, clocks and modern design. The event provided a convenient and informal setting for residents and guests to seek advice and valuations
A further valuation day took place at the historic St George’s Bristol, hosted in partnership with the venue as part of its wider programme of activity. Visitors were able to attend valuations alongside St George’s lunchtime concert series, offering an opportunity to combine cultural events with specialist advice from Clevedon Salerooms’ valuation team
These events reflect Clevedon Salerooms’ flexible approach to valuations, meeting clients in locations that are accessible and relevant, while maintaining the same level of expertise and care offered at the salerooms.
Looking ahead
Following these events, Clevedon Salerooms plans to continue holding valuation days at external venues throughout 2026. A number of new and interesting locations are currently being considered, offering further opportunities for clients to engage with the auction house in different settings.
Details of forthcoming valuation events will be shared on the Clevedon Salerooms website. Clients are encouraged to keep an eye on the news and events pages for updates.
